About This Blog
I am just another girl trying to figure out what works for me and my hair. No perfection here, just continual learning...
This Blog is about my healthy hair journey and a challenge to myself to show ME that I CAN grow long healthy hair....Its not about a hair diet, but a lifestyle change...
Hair Tragedy

My Hair journey continues...
Today I got myself in a mess a hot mess.....my hair totally matted and tangled..sigh...
Here is what happened. I undid my Senegalese twists and of course I needed to detangle it before I washed it. I decided to deep condition overnight saturating my hair and sleeping with a shower cap and then wash out in the morning. Deep condition went alright until morning when I took the cap off. the knots just got sealed in. I went into the shower and cowashed the hair this didn't help. I came out with a mat and that is how I spent my day untangling my hair...
I was on the verge of cutting it off. I am 5 month post relaxer and I have a bit of growths so I was highly considering a big chop...but with a little patience and a few combs got rid of all the knots...Never again will I do that...
